Titular diocese of Heraclea
The diocese of Heraclea ( Italian diocesi di Eraclea , Latin Dioecesis Heracleensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a medieval bishopric in the city of Eraclea , which is located in the Italian region of Veneto . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Aquileia .
