Titular diocese of Rama
Rama or Ramata ( Italian : Ramatha ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church . There has never been a submerged bishopric of Rama or Ramata. The titular bishop of the diocese of Lydda (now Lod in Israel) and Rama (now Ramla ), founded in the time of the Crusades , was usually called Bishop of Rama . This fact was later forgotten and there was both a titular diocese of Lydda and a titular diocese of Rama. After the connection was clarified in 1884, the titular bishopric was abolished.
