Titular diocese of Rota
Rota is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient city of Rota , which in late antiquity was in the Roman province of Hispania ulterior or in late antiquity Baetica . The bishopric belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Tarragona .
