After the ice rink was temporarily managed by the former owners' association itself in May 2008, the complex has now been operated under a new owner and the specially set up TEB Tivoli Ice Rink Operator Company mbH since the 2009/2010 ice skating season .

In the 2010/2011 season the Euregio Eissport-Verein Eschweiler decided to rename the Aachener Ice Hockey Club due to the new location in the Tivoli Eissporthalle , because they had played their home games in Aachen since the 2008/09 season and their ancestral one year later Eissporthalle Eschweiler was closed. The Öcher Wiesn is an Oktoberfest organized by 100'5 Das Hitradio. At the Öcher Wiesn, the arena is lavishly decorated. From the outside it is optically transformed into a Bavarian Oktoberfest tent by oversized banners. The outdoor dining area should appear rustic and rustic thanks to its wooden booths. The interior is specially equipped with a wooden floor to create an authentic marquee atmosphere. Banners on the walls in wood look, a huge panorama of the Alps and cloths on the ceiling complete the marquee illusion.
