The Tivoli Road in the district town Düren ( North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a major city road . It is one of the main entrances to the city center.

The street begins at the junction of August-Klotz-Straße / Philippstraße and ends at Valencienner Straße . The street Bismarckstraße  - Schenkelstraße  - Tivolistraße crosses the city center.

Tivolistraße crosses the Rur , the Mühlenteich and the Düren – Heimbach railway line .

history

The road is (then in today after the former goods "United Tivoli" city park located) and "Little Tivoli" (then corner Rurstraße / Tvolistraße located) named.

The path used to be called nightingale or Bohrsgäßchen . A bridge was built over the mill pond around 1780, but it was closed in 1810 because it threatened to collapse. It was called Bohrsbrücke . On July 15, 1894 a bridge was built over the Rur. It was named "Bismarck Bridge". It was rebuilt after the Second World War and completely renewed in 2009/2010.
