Tobee (born June 24, 1985 in Geislingen an der Steige ; actually Tobias Riether ) is a German pop and mood singer and dentist.

Career

Tobias Riether learned several instruments in his youth and took singing lessons. At 15 he founded a rock cover band, at 18 he won a talent competition in party music and became the lead singer of a Baden-Württemberg show band.

He had his first success in 2006 with the self-written title Die Ina . He found producers at Xtreme Sound in Cologne , who put the song on numerous party samplers. The following year he had a hit with Banana, Lemon , which landed on the Ballermannhits sampler and has since been firmly committed to the Bierkönig on Mallorca . This was followed by other hits such as the remakes Lotus Flower , originally from Flippers , Westerland from Doctors and A White Rose from Kastelruther Spatzen .

In 2008, the Major took EMI Tobee under contract and produced for the European Football Championship the song '80 '96 2008 '72, which at least from the title of the hit '54, '74, '90, 2006 the Sportfreunde Stiller to Soccer World Cup remembered two years earlier. This was the first time Riether had a chart hit and reached number 70 in the German single charts . Tobee is now one of the established entertainers at both summer and winter parties.

In the summer of 2009, the singer had his second chart success with Chris Andrews . Andrew's hit Pretty Belinda from 1969 was supplemented by a German refrain and a sinking inflatable boat, making it a summer party hit.

His single Blau wie das Meer was released in the summer of 2014, and since its appearance he has had to deal with allegations of plagiarism. The single has strong similarities with the song of the same name by the group Mr. Hurley & the powder monkeys .

In addition to his career as a singer, Tobee has his own label with "Brainstall" and is active as a producer for other artists, such as B. DJ Düse, Vroni, Daaan or Danito Lopez.

Private

Tobias Riether successfully completed his studies in dentistry at the University of Ulm in 2017 and has since worked as a dentist alongside his appearances.
