Tobias Goldfarb (born Bungter , * 1974 in Bonn ) is a German author. He lives in Berlin and has been writing for the press, radio and theater since 1992.

Life

Tobias Goldfarb first studied comparative literature , Romance languages and art history in Bonn , then acting and dramaturgy in Mexico City , and finally journalism at City University London . There he graduated with a Master of Arts in International Journalism . This was followed by internships in radio and television stations in Essen, Cologne, Inverness and Paris and an employment as an editor in children's television in Munich ( Disney Channel , Disney Club).

Since 2002 he has been working as a freelance journalist for radio (WDR, Deutschlandfunk) and as an author and director for the theater. Goldfarb's plays have been performed at the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden , the Deutsches Theater Göttingen and at the Schwäbisch Hall open-air theater , among others . In 2014 and 2015 he directed the Bad Hersfeld Festival . He created children's book series like Leo & Leo and Kokolores & Co .

In 2014 he married his partner Laura Goldfarb , Lisa Quarg's twin sister . Tobias Goldfarb lives in Berlin on Prenzlauer Berg . Goldfarb's father is the radio journalist Georg Bungter .
