Lisa Quarg

Lisa Quarg (* 1984 in Essen ) is a German actress , theater director , dancer and choreographer .

Life

Lisa Quarg is the daughter of an architect and a dance teacher. In addition to her identical twin sister Laura , she has another sister and brother. Even in childhood, the twins played small roles in opera performances. Quarg graduated from the Folkwang University of the Arts in her hometown and graduated in 2006 with a diploma.

During her training, Quarg and her sister worked as a director and choreographer in productions by the young choreographers in Essen. Even after finishing their studies, the twins usually performed together. Both had engagements at numerous German theaters, at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , the Staatstheater Wiesbaden , the Alten Schauspielhaus Stuttgart , the Hamburger Allee-Theater , the Pathos Transport Theater in Munich, in Berlin at the Deutsches Theater and in Essen at the Grillo-Theater , in the Maschinenhaus or in the Zeche Zollverein , partly responsible for direction and choreography. They are often guests at festival performances, for example at the Gandersheim Cathedral Festival , the Schwäbisch Hall open-air theater or the Bad Hersfeld Festival . Here Quarg - also together with her sister - received the Hersfeld Prize in 2015 for her role as a maid in Holk Freytag's production of Kleist's Broken Krug . They also appear together as a cabaret and comedy duo, Die Goldfarb-Zwillinge .

In 2010 Quarg founded the QQ Theater in Berlin with her sister and her current husband, the author Tobias Bungter , where they stage plays that they have written themselves. Quarg also worked in various short films with her sister.

Lisa Quarg has been the mother of a son since May 2014 and lives in Berlin in Prenzlauer Berg , apartment after apartment with her sister.
