Laura Goldfarb , bourgeois Laura Quarg (* 1984 in Essen ) is a German actress , theater director , dancer and choreographer .

Life

Laura Goldfarb is the daughter of an architect and a dance teacher. In addition to her identical twin sister Lisa , she has another sister and brother. Even in childhood, the twins played small roles in opera performances. In her hometown, Goldfarb graduated from the Folkwang University of the Arts and graduated in 2006 with a diploma.

During her apprenticeship, Goldfarb was involved with her sister as a director and choreographer in productions by the young choreographers Essen. Even after finishing their studies, the twins usually performed together. Both had engagements at numerous German theaters, at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , the Staatstheater Wiesbaden , the Alten Schauspielhaus Stuttgart , the Hamburger Allee-Theater , the Pathos Transport Theater in Munich, in Berlin at the Deutsches Theater and in Essen at the Grillo-Theater , in the Maschinenhaus or in the Zeche Zollverein , partly responsible for direction and choreography. They are often guests at festival performances, for example at the Gandersheim Cathedral Festival , the Schwäbisch Hall open-air theater or the Bad Hersfeld Festival . Here Goldfarb - also together with her sister - received the Hersfeld Prize in 2015 for her role as maid in Holk Freytag's production of Kleist's Broken Krug . They also appear together as a cabaret and comedy duo, Die Goldfarb-Zwillinge .

In 2010, Goldfarb founded the QQ Theater in Berlin with her future husband, the author Tobias Bungter , and her sister , where they stage plays that they have written themselves. Goldfarb also appeared in various short films together with her sister.

In 2014 she married her partner Tobias Bungter. Since then, both have been using the artist name Goldfarb and live in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg , apartment after apartment with their sister.
