Tobias Stille (born March 28, 1966 in Berlin ) is a German producer , showrunner , director and screenwriter . In 2017 he and Christof Düro produced the film "Crossover" (German title: "All in one boat"), a refugee drama that tells the conditions of flight across different levels of time and meaning. The film was shown at various festivals, including a. Attention Berlin! (2019) and in Shanghai (2019).

Career

Tobias Stille grew up in Berlin , Bonn and Flensburg and studied communication and theater studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He then completed post-graduate scriptwriting at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles . He is also trained as a systemic coach and works temporarily in the field of organizational, team and personnel development.

As a producer for UFA , he made several series and television films from 1995 to 2000 before devoting himself to directing his own films. In 2007 he shot his much-acclaimed debut "Ohnmacht" for Bayerischer Rundfunk with Martin Brambach based on his own book. In 2017 he produced the movie "Crossover" (German title: "All in one boat") with Christof Düro. Since then he has been active as a producer for various production houses and develops feature films, TV movies and series for the German and international market.

Tobias Stille is married, has four children and lives south of Munich.
