Christof Düro

Christof Johannes Düro (born November 30, 1963 in Trier ) is a German theater and film actor .

Life

Düro received his training at the Genzmer drama school in Wiesbaden and the Mainz drama school (theater workshop). He co-founded this as the first drama school in Rhineland-Palatinate ; Today it is the only state-approved and recognized drama school in Mainz .

Christof Düro's theater work includes engagements at the Lower House of Mainz , the Mainzer Kammerspiele, the Heidelberg City Theater , the Badische Landesbühne Bruchsal, the Hanover State Theater and the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin.

He has been an active improvisation actor since 1989 . He is a permanent member of the ensemble of “Turbine William wie die Birne” and a permanent guest at Theatersport Berlin and the Harlequin Theater in Tübingen . He regularly teaches improvisation and is a guest lecturer at the IFS, the International Film School Cologne and the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts . He also works as a consultant and coach and founded his own agency in Berlin in 2011 .

Since 1993 he has appeared regularly in German film and cinema productions. In 1995 he played the bum in Oskar Röhler's film Gentlemen . In 1995 he was seen alongside Dominic Raacke and Sophie Rois in the film The Cold Finger as Howard. This was followed by work with the directors: Vivian Naefe , Kaspar Heidelbach , Uli Möller , Markus Imboden , Anno Saul , Alain Gsponer , Hannu Salonen , Roland Suso Richter and Dennis Gansel . He has appeared in movies alongside Mads Mikkelsen , Daniel Brühl and Moritz Bleibtreu, among others.
