Wolfram Vindl

Wolfram Vindl (born January 4, 1945 in Breitenwang , Tyrol ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Wolfram Vindl initially intended to become a teacher , so after graduating from secondary school in 1959, he attended the teacher training institute in Innsbruck . But after two years he broke off his training in 1961 and in 1962 found work as an employee in the land registry at the district court of the Reutte district . A year later, Vindl became a civil servant in the office of the Tyrolean provincial government , where he was employed as a clerk in the Reutte building district office.

From 1972 Vindl was district chairman of the Austrian Workers' Union (ÖAAB), a sub-organization of the ÖVP, in Reutte. In 1984 he sat for the first time for a few months as a member of the ÖVP in the Tyrolean state parliament . After a two-year absence, he was sworn in again in 1986 as a member of the state parliament. This time he was to be a member of the Tyrolean state parliament for eight years, until 1994.

From 1992 he was also a member of the municipal council of the municipality of Wängle .

In December 1997 he became a member of the Federal Council in Vienna . Vindl was a member of the Austrian provincial chamber until March 1999.
