Cross of Merit of the State of Tyrol

With the state law of November 25, 1964, the state of Tyrol introduced the Tyrolean State Cross of Merit and the Tyrol State Medal of Merit . The Cross of Merit is a silver Latin cross on which the motif of the badge of honor lies in a small form. It is 60 mm high and 50 mm wide and is worn as a piercing decoration on the left side of the chest.

The number of holders of the Cross of Merit must not exceed 500; 48 merit crosses may be awarded annually.
