Tobias Unkauf

Tobias Unkauf (born October 20, 1987 in Wiesbaden ) is a German actor and biotechnologist .

Unkauf was already in front of the camera for television and commercials. He also works as a voice actor.

Tobias Unkauf studied biotechnology at the TU Braunschweig and the University of Linköping from 2007 to 2012 . He then did his doctorate in the group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Dübel in the field of antibody engineering and phage display .

As the founder and supervisor of the first team at the TU Braunschweig , he and his team won the renowned iGEM competition at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the category Best New Application Project in 2013 .

2014 was Tobias Unkauf by the Lower Saxony Minister for Science and Culture, Gabriele Heinen-Kljajic , for his work and social engagement with the Science Award of Lower Saxony awarded.
