Tobias Wald (born August 26, 1973 in Bühl (Baden) ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since 2011 .

Life

Wald attended the Ottersweier primary school and the Ottersweier secondary school. He obtained the technical college entrance qualification at the Bühl Business School and the subject-related higher education entrance qualification at the Bühl Business School . This was followed by training as a financial assistant at Spar- und Kreditbank-Raiffeisenbank eG Ottersweier and studying to obtain a degree in business administration at the AKAD University of Stuttgart. Wald is a banker by profession.

In 1991, Wald joined the CDU and the Junge Union . At JU he was first chairman in Ottersweier and then in the Rastatt district , after which he was a member of the state executive committee. Since 1997 he has been a member of the board of the CDU district association Rastatt, two years later he became deputy chairman of the municipality association Ottersweier , where he has also been a local councilor, member of the expert committee and since 2009 deputy parliamentary group chairman. Since 2001 he has been a member of the board of the CDU district association in North Baden, and since 2006 of the working group for economics, science and research of the CDU Baden-Württemberg. He is also deputy spokesman for the CDU Economic Council in the Baden-Baden / Rastatt section

In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2011 , Wald won the direct mandate in the state electoral district of Baden-Baden and thus entered the state parliament for the first time.
