Mórahalom is a town in the Mórahalom suburb in Csongrád-Csanád County in southern Hungary .
In 2011, 6,090 inhabitants lived in an area of 69.19 km². Mórahalom is the administrative center of the Mórahalom small area.
Road No. 55 runs through the town. The M5 motorway from Budapest to Szeged runs south-east, 8 km away.
Mórahalom is located at the transition between Serbia and Hungary on the European Iron Curtain Trail (ICT) cycle path , which leads from the Barents Sea for almost 6,800 kilometers to the Black Sea .
