Tobias Welzel (born February 3, 1990 in Göttingen ) is a German basketball player . He played 17 Bundesliga games for the BG Göttingen .
Career
Tobias Welzel played for his home club in Göttingen in the youth basketball league and later in the basketball league . The first BBL point of the Göttingen home grown on January 16, 2010 in the game against the Phantoms Braunschweig was celebrated frenetically by the supporters.
Between 2010 and 2014 Welzel was under contract at UBC Hannover, first in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA , then in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . Further ProB stations followed in Recklinghausen and Wolfenbüttel, and in 2016 he moved to TSV Neustadt in the 2nd regional league.
