Todd Armstrong
Todd Armstrong (born July 25, 1937 in Missouri , USA , † November 17, 1992 in Butte County , California , USA; actually John Harris Armstrong ) was an American actor .
Life
Armstrong was a member of the Pasadena Playhouse College of Theater Arts . His colleagues included Dustin Hoffman and Gene Hackman . However, he came to film through his work as a gardener for actress Gloria Hendry , which enabled him to test shots. So began his acting career with the television series Smoking Colts Armstrong. He was considered talented and was known as an excellent fencer . His last two television series were Hawaii Five-Zero and The Greatest American Hero .
His first film was A Stranger Arrived (1962). A year later he played his most famous role in Jason and the Argonauts , that of " Jason ". Other films were Armstrong's King Rat , Whenever he smelled of dollars and Winnetou and his friend Old Fire hand .
Todd Armstrong died in California in 1992 at the age of 55 from a self-triggered gunshot.
