Tomáš Hübschman (born September 4, 1981 in Prague ) is a Czech football player . He is under contract as a defender at the Czech first division club FK Jablonec .

Career

His first professional game completed Hübschman in the Gambrinus League for FK Jablonec 97 , to which he was loaned in the 2000/01 season. After a year, his parent club Sparta Prague brought him back. He stayed there for three seasons and did not score in 81 first division games. In the seasons 2002/03 and 2003/04 he won the Czech championship with Sparta.

From July 2004 to July 2014 Hübschman played for Shakhtar Donetsk , where he was a regular for most of the time; he won the Ukrainian championship three times and the Ukrainian Cup twice. In July 2014, Hübschman moved back to the Czech Republic to join his first professional club, FK Jablonec.

With the Czech U-21 national team, Hübschman became European champion in 2002 . The defensive player was on the pitch more than 40 times for the Czech national team . He also played a few times in the 2006 World Cup qualification, but did not take part in the tournament itself. He participated in the 2004 European Championships and in qualifying for the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine in 2012.
