Tomáš Skuhravý (born September 7, 1965 in Přerov nad Labem ) is a former Czech football player .

Tomáš Skuhravý was one of the best Czech strikers in the second half of the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s. Because of its high hit rate, it was nicknamed Bomber . Skuhravý's youth club was Přerov nad Labem. At the age of 15 he went to Sparta Prague . At the age of 17 he made his debut in the first division. Between 1984 and 1986 he did his military service at RH Cheb . In the following 1986/87 season he had his big breakthrough, scoring 18 goals in 29 games. In the following years, too, when Skuhravý had long been a national player, he scored goals like on the assembly line.

Skuhravý became known beyond the borders of Czechoslovakia at the 1990 World Cup in Italy, where he scored five goals. After his two goals in the group game against the USA (5-1) and his hat-trick in the round of 16 against Costa Rica , he signed a contract with CFC Genoa . In five years he scored 59 times in 155 games for the Italian club, and is still the record scorer for the club in Serie A and a great idol of the local fan scene. 1994 was Leeds United three million pounds for Skuhravý, but the transfer was bursting at the last moment. In December 1995 he was loaned to Sporting Lisbon , but only played four games there. He negotiated with Viktoria Žižkov and completed a trial session at 1. FC Kaiserslautern , but due to persistent knee problems, he ended his career at the age of only 31.

He then worked as the manager of Marila Příbram and as a football expert for Italian television. He played in the lower leagues for TJ Budenín and Sokol Kosoř.

He owns a hotel called Bomber in Přerov nad Labem . Several accidents with sports cars caused a stir. In 1993 he narrowly escaped death. In 1999, Drunk, Skuhravý committed a hit-and-run , his driver's license was revoked for three years.
