Tom Menting (born November 29, 1994 in Wageningen , Gelderland Province ) is a Dutch football player . He has been with SV Spakenburg since 2017 in the fourth-class Derde Divisie and is mostly used in the central midfield.

Career

He began his professional career at BV De Graafschap in Doetinchem . From 2013 he was first active in the second team, but then made his debut on October 3, 2014 in the first team and in the Jupiler League . In the 2-1 win against FC Den Bosch , he was substituted on by coach Jan Vreman in the 68th minute for Kristopher Vida . At the end of the season he was able to celebrate promotion to the Eredivisie with his teammates from BV De Graafschap .

In the Eredivisie he made his debut on September 20, 2015 and was substituted on for Youssef El Jebli in the 3-0 defeat by Vitesse Arnheim in the 73rd minute . At the end of the season he went straight back to the Jupiter League with his club. In addition, his contract expired at the end of the season and he did not receive a new contract from BV De Graafschap. He then joined Willem II's second team from Tilburg as an amateur on September 1, 2016 . In January 2017 he completed a one-week trial training session with second division team Achilles '29 in Groesbeek , but then stayed with Willem II.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the amateur club SV Spakenburg , which plays in the fourth-class Derde Divisie . He made his debut for the new club on October 7, 2017 in a 2-1 win against the second team from FC Groningen and was substituted on in the 90th minute.
