Tom Patti (born October 22, 1963 in New York City , New York ) is an American businessman , politician , supervisor of San Joaquin County , California , public figure , five-time state champion in the amateur tournament of the " Golden Gloves "; after the death of Cus D'Amato was the manager and coach of Mike Tyson .

biography

Tom Patti was born in New York , then moved to Stockton , California . In 1969 he began his studies at AA Stagg High School. In 1981 he became a member of the sports team in swimming and water polo. Upon graduation, he entered Delta College (San Joaquin Delta College), where in 2015 he became a board member of the Delta College Foundation, a nonprofit whose goal is to provide local students with the opportunity to receive additional education to obtain.

Since 1982 Tom Patti and Mike Tyson have been under the direct supervision of boxing manager and boxing trainer Cus D'Amato .

In 2001 Tom Patti returned to Stockton, where the family company Delta Cranes, founded by his father in 1969, is located. On November 8, 2016, Tom Patti was elected Supervisor for the 3rd District of San Joaquin . He officially took office in January 2017, at a meeting attended by his father and mother, Anthony and Penny Patti, and daughters Taylor and Presley. Before that, Tom Patti was a five-time national champion of the " Golden Gloves ", after which he worked on television and starred in films, including the 10-hour miniseries "Oceano", Patty also worked with such actors as Anthony Michael Hall , Robert Downey junior , Uma Thurman , Mickey Rourke , Christopher Walken , Charlize Theron , Ernest Borgnine .

In 2017, Tom Patti and a scientist from Ukraine, Ph.D. Oleg Maltsev , the book “ Uncompromising Pendulum ” about the style of Cus D'Amato. This book in the words of Tom Patti pays homage to the memory of his teacher Cus D'Amato.
