Tom Wopat

Tom Wopat (born September 9, 1951 in Lodi , Wisconsin ) is an American actor and singer .

He played Luke Duke in the series A Duke Seldom Comes Alone from 1979 to 1982 and 1983 to 1985 . He played Jeff , one of Cybill Sheridan's ex-husbands, on the sitcom Cybill . He is now a successful actor on Broadway .

In two episodes of the series Listen, Who's Hammering Wopat can be seen as Ian, the Granitheini and in the series Smallville Season 5 Episode 6 he played Jonathan Kent's childhood friend Senator Jack Jennings - Jonathan Kent is in the series by John Schneider , the actor des Bo Duke from A Duke rarely comes played alone . In 2012 he made a brief appearance in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained as US Marshal Gill Tatum. On the critically acclaimed Longmire series plays Wopat Sheriff Jim Wilkins, the chief law enforcement officer of the neighboring district.

In 2017 he is said to have consumed cocaine and harassed colleagues.
