Tomasz Tłuczyński (born April 19, 1979 in Kielce , Poland ) is a Polish handball player . He is 1.82 m tall.

Tłuczyński, who plays for the German league club VfL Mennighüffen and ran for the Polish national team, is mostly used as a left winger.

Tomasz Tłuczyński did not start playing handball in his native Poland, but in Germany, as his father, Zbigniew Tłuczyński , was himself a professional handball player in Germany and his family always accompanied him to his player stations. That is why the young Tomasz played in his youth at VfL Fredenbeck , TuS Nettelstedt , TV Sachsenroß Hille and finally TV Jahn Duderstadt before signing with first division club VfL Gummersbach in 1998 . There he could not assert himself, however, and only stayed a year before moving to the second division team TV Emsdetten in 1999. In 2002 Tłuczyński came to Eintracht Hildesheim , with which he almost managed to rise to the first division in 2005; but then Tłuczyński went to TSV Hannover-Burgdorf , which had just risen from the regional league. After being promoted to the Bundesliga in 2009 with Hanover, he moved to TuS N-Lübbecke. In the summer of 2013 he joined the league club LiT Handball NSM . Two seasons later, Tłuczyński moved to the regional league team TV Sachsenroß Hille, for whom he went hunting for goals as a youth. He supported coach Björn Blomenkamp there as a playing assistant coach. He has been playing at VfL Handball Mennighüffen since 2017.

Tomasz Tłuczyński has played 128 international matches for the Polish national team. At the 2007 World Cup he made a sensational advance with Poland to the final, where he was defeated by the German team .

His brother Maciek Tłuczyński is also a handball player and has already played for several German clubs.
