Tommaso da Modena
Tommaso (* around 1325 in Modena ; † after March 1368 / before July 16, 1379) was an Italian painter from Modena and was therefore also called Tommaso da Modena.
Around 1352 he painted a series of murals of the most famous members of the Dominican Order in Treviso (in the Dominican monastery ), as well as the lunette fresco of the crucified in the cathedral . Further traces of him can be found in Prague, where he is said to have been appointed by Charles IV in 1357 . A Madonna and an Ecce homo are on the Karlstein near Prague.
