Toni Ebner (journalist, 1957)

Toni Ebner (born May 21, 1957 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is a South Tyrolean journalist .

Life

Ebner is a son of the politician and journalist Toni Ebner and his wife Martha Ebner as well as the brother of the former European parliamentarian and entrepreneur Michl Ebner . He studied law at the University of Innsbruck and then gained work experience in the journalistic field, including at the Austria Press Agency , the Salzburger Nachrichten and the Sunday newspaper Zett . Since 1995 he has been editor-in-chief of the South Tyrolean daily newspaper Dolomiten , which is published by the printing and publishing group Athesia , which is majority owned by the Ebner family. Ebner uses the pseudonym "krah" for critical commentaries on principle in his paper .

The European Association of Daily Newspapers in Minority and Regional Languages (MIDAS) was Ebner ago as president. He also took on teaching positions at the Institute for Contemporary History at the University of Innsbruck.

Ebner has lived in Aldein , his father's hometown , for years .
