Tonia D. Tisdell (born March 20, 1992 in Monrovia ) is a Liberian football player .
Career
Tonia Tisdell learned to play football in his home country Liberia and moved to Ankaraspor in Turkey at the age of 17 . Without completing a game for his new contract, he was loaned to Karşıyaka SK for the season.
In the spring he moved to MKE Ankaragücü , but was loaned to Mersin İdman Yurdu SK again without playing a game . Here he was immediately used on a regular basis in the professional team. He finished the 2010/11 season with his team as champions of the 1st Lig and thus achieved direct promotion to the Süper Lig . At the end of the season they tried to get Tisdell including the transfer fee, but the transfer failed because the transfer fee was too high.
Tisdell then began the 2011/12 season at Ankaragücü. Here he came on a regular basis. Since his club could not pay the players' salaries towards the middle of the season, Tisdell was released by contract. He then moved to his old club Ankaraspor . Because Ankaraspor again did not participate in the league in the 2011/12 season, Tisdell was loaned to Mersin İdman Yurdu until the end of the season.
After Ankaraspor decided to stay away from the game in the 2012/13 season, Tisdell was released. Then Tisdell agreed with the second division newcomer Şanlıurfaspor . For the second half of the 2015/16 season he was loaned to the second division club Karşıyaka SK .
For the 2017/18 season, his club loaned him to the second division club MKE Ankaragücü . There he was used in eight games.
For the 2018/19 season, Tisdell signed a one-year contract with Denizlispor . Here, however, he could not prevail, so that he switched to Nea Salamis Famagusta in Cyprus during the winter break .
