The Bavarian, Catholic village pastor Tonio and the family therapist Julia, who has lived in Berlin for a long time, have known each other since their youth. When Julia got a job as a therapist in Tonio's parish, both of them were competing for the villagers' favor. On the other hand, things sometimes crackle between them, so that the conflict that arises from celibacy seems preprogrammed.

The first season (episodes pinch does not apply and two are not yet a couple ) was filmed between June 8 and August 2, 2017. The second season was filmed between June 5 and August 8, 2018 and between August 28 and October 24, 2018 in Munich and Bad Tölz. Episodes 7-10 of the third season were filmed in Munich, Bad Tölz and the surrounding area from May 18, 2019.
