The Tonna is a brook in the Thuringian Basin and a right tributary of the Unstrut .

It rises on the southern outskirts of Ballstädt in the Gotha district and flows on the western edge of the Fahner Höhe in a northerly direction through the municipality of Tonna . After about 10 kilometers it flows into the Unstrut in the Bad Langensalza district of Nägelstedt .
