Tony Granz

Tony Granz (born June 14,  1987 in Schmalkalden ) is a German former basketball player . During his career, the 2.05 meter long inside player was in the service of the first division club Braunschweig and was a U20 national player.

career

Born in Schmalkalden in Thuringia  , Granz made it into the second division squad at TuS Jena in the 2005/06 season . In the summer of 2007 he took part in the European B Championship in Poland with the German U20 national team.

For the 2007/08 season, Granz moved to the Braunschweig Phantoms in the basketball league . He was under contract there until 2010 and played six appearances in the top German league during this time, while the team played primarily for the Bundesliga team's SG Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB  .

In the 2010/11 season Granz strengthened the Dukes of Wolfenbüttel  in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB, played for the second men's team of SG Braunschweig in the 2nd regional league in 2012/13 and again for the Dukes of Wolfenbüttel in the 2013/14 season. In January 2014 he left the team.
