Tony Morgan (* 1938 in Pickwell , Leicestershire , England , † 2004 in Geneva ) was a British painter, sculptor, multimedia artist and performance artist.

life and work

In the 1960s, Tony Morgan was seen as a representative of the experimental position within young British plastic. He is a co-founder of the “English School”, which defines itself through pop colors in the sculpture and through additively assembled basic forms. From around 1967 he was represented in all important exhibitions on the subject of plastic in Germany and in 1969 gave his name to the exhibition series "Between" in the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf .
