The Tonynuten is a 2287  m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In Sør Rondane it rises 3 km south-southwest of Van Autenboerfjellet and east of Tussebreen .

Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988. It is named after the Belgian geologist Tony Van Autenboer, participant in three Belgian Antarctic expeditions between 1957 and 1961 and leader of a Belgian-Dutch Antarctic expedition in the mid-1960s.
