Song contest

The song was previously counted as a favorite. Laut.de wrote that Lundvik had done its "homework", but criticized the "extremely simple refrain". "That should be enough for the top places, but the song is musically too calculable for the really big coup."

The song was performed on May 16, 2019 in eighth place of the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel, and reached number three. Lundvik competed with the song in the final against the British contribution Bigger Than Us , which was also co-written by him and was originally supposed to be performed by him at the Melodifestivalen; however, this came in last place in the final. On the other hand, Too Late for Love , sung in ninth place, reached fifth place out of 26 with 334 points.
