Tooned is a British animated series by McLaren Animation released in 2012. The series is about the two drivers of the McLaren Formula 1 team Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton . Since the 2012 British Grand Prix, a new episode has been broadcast on Sky Sport before each Grand Prix . The individual episodes can also be seen on YouTube .

In most of the twelve episodes that have appeared so far, the two drivers have to complete various tests for Professor M at the McLaren factory in Woking . However, something always goes wrong because Button and Hamilton only want to compete in racing. The four-minute episodes often end with the sentence “Oh dear, it's happened again!” (For example: “Oh no, not again!”) By Professor M. The series is based on the James Bond film series .
2nd season (2013)
The second season was originally supposed to start for the 2013 Spanish Grand Prix. Shortly before the Spanish Grand Prix, the production company moved the start of the second season to the British Grand Prix. The season has also been shortened by three episodes and is expected to contain only nine episodes. This season is all about the 50th anniversary, which Mclaren celebrated in 2013. A famous driver for Mclaren is portrayed in each episode.

The series is produced by Framestore and distributed by Mclaren Animation. Ron Dennis is involved as a producer. Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Sergio Pérez synchronize their characters themselves. The series has so far only appeared in English.
The series logo has been featured on the rear wings of the Mclarens since the 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix .
In 2014 the series only appeared as a kind of advertisement for the Mclaren sponsor Mobil 1 . In addition to Professor M, the drivers Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen were shown .
