Torben Karstens

Torben Karstens (born March 28, 1979 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and model .

biography

Torben Karstens discovered his passion for acting at the age of ten, when he gained his first stage experience in Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince . After graduating from high school, he began to work successfully as an international model. His customers still include Hugo Boss , Armani , Calvin Klein , Dolce & Gabbana and many other well-known designers. In the following years he lived and worked in Paris , Milan , Tokyo , Cape Town , New York and many more.

In 2003 he decided to move to New York, where he trained as an actor and director . During his education he played at the Off-Broadway starring roles in Oliver Hayley's Fathers Day , Edward Albee 's Zoo Story and Joanna Murray-Smith's Honor . Karstens has been living in Germany again since 2007, where he directed the Ohnsorg Theater alongside Folker Bohnet for the first time.
