Fengtai softball stadium
The Fengtai Softball Stadium ( Chinese 豐台 壘球 場 , Pinyin fēngtái lĕiqiúchăng ) is a softball sports facility in Beijing . The stadium is a venue for the 2008 Summer Olympics .
The area of the stadium, which can seat 10,000 spectators, is 15,570 square meters. There is also a reserve stadium with 3500 seats. The stadium already existed, but was renovated from July 28, 2005 to 2006 for the Olympic Games. The Asian Games in 1990 and the Softball World Cup in 1992 had already taken place there .
