During the 2008 Summer Olympics , archery competitions were held on the facility . The facility was located in the Olympic Green Olympic Park and covered 9.22 hectares. The shooting ranges were surrounded by three grandstands with a total of 5,000 spectators. With this facility, too, it was known from the outset that it would not be permanent, but that the site would be converted into a green area.
