The Qingdao International Sailing Center is a 2008 Summer Olympics sports venue located in Qingdao , a coastal city in northeast Shandong Province . It was the venue for the Olympic competitions in sailing .

The Qingdao International Sailing Center covers an area of ​​42 hectares, two thirds of which are used for competitions. It is located near the Beihai Shipyard on Fushan Bay and includes a land, a port and a sea area. The land area is home to the administrative and judges ' offices , the press and athletes' center as well as various logistics and infrastructure facilities .
