East China (Huadong)

Huadong ( Chinese  華東  /  华东 , Pinyin Huádōng , short from: 華東 地區  /  华东 地区 , Huádōng Dìqū  - "East China Region") is the Chinese name for the greater East China or East China Region .

It comprises the following administrative units at the provincial level:

  1. Shāndōng
  2. Jiāngsū
  3. Zhèjiāng
  4. Ānhuī
  5. Jiāngxī
  6. Fújiàn
  7. Shànghǎi

Taiwan

Historically, Taiwan also belonged to the Chinese region "Huadong".
