Torben Maas
Torben Maas (born April 20, 1987 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück ) is a German film producer and screenwriter .
Life
Maas grew up in the Delbrücker Land. After graduating from the GNR in Rietberg , he studied media management with a specialization in TV / film production at the MHMK in Munich from 2006 . After completing his studies, he initially worked as a freelance project manager for various advertising agencies and was responsible for several feature film productions as a production manager.
In 2011 he founded the film production company Filmschaft Maas & Füllmich together with Christian Füllmich , in which he has been active as a producer and partner ever since. As one of the youngest winners in the “VGF Young Producer” category , he was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize in 2012 for the film drama Nemez .
Maas lives in Munich.
