The Torino Esposizioni ( German  Turin exhibitions ) is an exhibition center opened in 1949 in the north-western Italian city of Turin , Piedmont .

It was designed by Pier Luigi Nervi and is located in the southern district of San Salvario on Corso Massimo d'Azeglio, in the immediate vicinity of the Olympic Stadium (formerly Stadio Comunale ) and the multi-purpose hall Pala alpitour . Most trade fair activities were relocated to Lingotto , a former Fiat factory site, in 1989.

One of the exhibition halls within the Giovanni Agnelli pavilion was converted into a temporary sports hall by September 2001 at a cost of 10.5 million euros. The maximum capacity is 4,320 seats. During the 2006 Winter Olympics , the two ice hockey tournaments (17 of the 38 men's games and half of the 20 women's games) were played here. After the Olympic Games, the hall was returned to its original use.
