The island of Tornø has 4 inhabitants (January 1st, 2020). It is located in the Odensefjord in the northeast of the Danish island of Fyn (German: Fyn ). It is connected to Fyn by an approximately 300 m long dam. The island is only about 21 hectares in size and is privately owned and used for agriculture.

Tornø belongs to the parish community ( Danish : Sogn ) Munkebo Sogn , which until 1970 belonged to Harde Bjerge Herred in what was then Odense Amt , then to Munkebo Kommune in what was then Fyns Amt , which became part of Kerteminde commune in the Kerteminde commune with the local reform on January 1, 2007 Region Syddanmark has risen.
