Tornow is an inhabited part of the municipality Göritz of the office Brüssow (Uckermark) in the district of Uckermark in Brandenburg .

geography

The federal motorway 20 runs a few kilometers from Tornow . To the east, the Polish border is approx. 30 kilometers (as the crow flies) away. In the north, the place borders directly on the state border with Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (municipality of Nieden ). The next largest city 15 kilometers away in the south is Prenzlau .

Village church

The local church is worth seeing. The bell of the church tower is one of the oldest in Brandenburg.

Tornow does not have any tourist attractions, but visitors appreciate the landscape, unspoiled nature and tranquility. There are numerous hiking routes around the village.

The Tornower See has a size of around 2.8 hectares and is valued by anglers for its rich fish stocks.
