Torsten Uhlig

Torsten Uhlig (* 1975 ) is a German Protestant theologian . He is Professor of the Old Testament at the Tabor Evangelical University in Marburg .

Life

Torsten Uhlig studied Protestant theology in Leipzig from 1995 to 2001 . In 2005 he was at the University of Gloucestershire for PhD doctorate . In 2007 he passed the second ecclesiastical examination and initially worked as a pastor in Altensalz in the Vogtland from 2007 to 2010 , then from 2011 to 2015 as a parish pastor in Wolkenstein-Schönbrunn and youth pastor in the Marienberg church district . From 2012 to 2015 he worked in the management team of MissioCamp Strobel-Mühle , from 2013 to 2015 in the management team of "jesus.echt - your training program". In 2015 he was appointed professor for the Old Testament at the Tabor Evangelical University.

Torsten Uhlig is married and has three children.
