Tosin Joseph Ogunode (born March 2, 1994 in Nigeria ) is a Qatari sprinter from Nigeria who has been authorized to compete internationally for Qatar since 2014. He is the younger brother of the sprinter Femi Ogunode .

Athletic career

In 2016 Tosin Ogunode qualified for the Asian Indoor Championships in Doha and was disqualified there in the semifinals over 60 meters. In 2017 he took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar, India, over 100 meters and came in fifth in the final. At the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran in 2018 , he won the silver medal in the 60-meter run behind Iranian Hassan Taftian . So he qualified for the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham , where he was eliminated with 6.77 s in the semifinals. At the end of August he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and won the silver medal there in 10.00 s behind the Chinese Su Bingtian . He made it to the semifinals over 200 meters, but couldn't finish his run there.

In 2019 he reached the semi-finals at the Asian Championships in Doha, where he was eliminated with 10.32 seconds.
