Tour of Elk Grove
The Tour of Elk Grove (to German Elk Grove Tour ) was until 2013 a cycling - stage race in the United States . It led to the town of Elk Grove Village in the state of Illinois and its region.
This tour has existed for men since 2006 and was on the national calendar for cycling races in the USA. In 2012 it became part of the UCI America Tour and was there in the UCI category 2.1. The Tour of Elk Grove was held annually in August . From 2011 there was also a women's race .
Neither the men nor the women managed to win the race several times. In 2013 it was announced that the race would be discontinued due to missed deadlines.
