The Trans Gas LPG Transport und Logistik GmbH & Co. KG (proper spelling: TRANS GAS ) based in North Rhine-Westphalia Dortmund is a German service company for LPG .

The business purpose of the company is the transport or delivery of liquefied petroleum gas ( propane or butane ) as heating, fuel or autogas as well as the implementation of related services. As a technical service provider, Transgas carries out repairs and tests on gas containers.

Transgas is a joint venture between several liquefied gas traders who mainly supply their end consumers through the company. Partners are:

• Primagas , Krefeld
• Progas , Dortmund
• Tyczka Energy , Geretsried
• Drachengas, Frankfurt / Main
• Scharr , Stuttgart
• Salzgitter gas, Salzgitter

In addition to the head office in Dortmund, there are branches in Bad Segeberg, Versmold, Cunnersdorf, Straubing and Aschaffenburg.

The company is an extraordinary member of the German Association of Liquid Gas eV , which also includes the shareholders as full members.
