Transilvanian Beat Club ( TBC ) is a company incorporated in 2005, German Metal - band from Tambach-Dietharz . The music is influenced by the genres of black metal , rock 'n' roll and polka . The band's lyrics are mostly written in German and deal with vampires , alcohol and supposed Romanian national romanticism .
Surname
The name Transilvanian Beat Club was chosen because the members feel like real Romanians , according to Yantit .
His favorite song Transilvanian Hunger by Darkthrone , which was included as a cover version on the debut album, also influenced the choice of the name.
The band acronym TBC is also the official abbreviation for tuberculosis , which, according to Ronny Fimmel, indirectly influenced the naming, as the abbreviation is funny and memorable.
history
Right from the start, the band largely consisted of the live line-up from Ewigheim . This fact ensured that the phase of getting to know each other was omitted.
The debut album Welcome to the Club! was recorded and produced in February and March 2006 by Markus Stock in the Klangschmiede Studio E in Mellrichstadt . It was released on May 5th.
In September 2006 Theresa Trenks left the band.
In 2007 the album Life should be beautiful ... was released.
