Trapt is an American from Los Gatos , California native, alternative rock band.

biography

Trapt was founded in 1997 by Chris Brown (vocals), Peter Charell (bass), Simon Ormandy (guitar) and David Stege (drums). After a few failures and negative feedback, the band decided to split up with David Stege. Aaron Montgomery finally took his place. Their debut album Trapt was released on November 22, 2002, and reached platinum status in the United States in June 2003 . In 2005 they released their second album Someone in Control . On August 5, 2008, their third album, Only Through the Pain , was released, and on October 12, 2010, their fourth album, No Apologies .
