The Trent in Nottingham |
The River Trent is the third longest river in Great Britain with a length of 297 kilometers . The source is at Biddulph Moor in Staffordshire . The Trent flows through the Midlands and flows together with the Ouse in the open to the North Sea Humber - estuary .
The main tributaries are Derwent , Soar and Tame . The following cities are on the river: Stoke-on-Trent , Burton-upon-Trent , Nottingham and Newark-on-Trent .
